Most tension tools are made for bench work or door cylinders. These are different. The wider foot stabilizes the tool against the face of the cylinder while you work in-hand, distributing pressure evenly so you can maintain consistent tension without fatigue or slipping.

Why TOK Style?

TOK (Top of Keyway) tension keeps the tool seated high in the keyway, leaving the bottom clear for your pick to move freely through all pin positions. This is especially useful on padlocks where keyway geometry is tight and bottom-of-keyway tension would block your working angle.
