Putting a tool together is straightforward, but doing it right ensures a rock-solid feel.
Get Parallel: Take your two Modular picks and your handle scales. The most important step is to make sure the two halves are perfectly parallel before you squeeze.
The Snap: Apply slow, even pressure. You’ll feel a clean "snap" as the two halves lock together.
The Magnet: The N52 magnet slot in the injected handles adds a little clamping force, but its real purpose is organization. It makes your assembled tools stick together in order.
Disassembly: If you want to swap profiles, the cleanest way is to slide a thin razor blade right between the steel profiles. A gentle push will wedge them apart and pop the handles open without any damage.
Glue: If the handles may work loose a bit. A small drop of super glue gel in each hole before snapping them together will keep them together. This is not permanent, you will still be able to remove the handles without damage using a razor blade.
